A clinic is a small private or public health facility that is devoted to the care of outpatients, often in a community, in contrast to larger hospitals, which also treat inpatients. A hospital is an institution for health care providing treatment by specialised staff and equipment, and often but not always providing for longer-term patient stays.

Clinic" is a Liverpool based indie rock band noted for their often fast-paced, eclectic sound. “Hospital" is a TV one-off comedy shown once in the UK in 1997 to commemorate the inauguration of Channel 5 (now Five).
